INTERLUDE

Hello everyone! I know it has been a while since I have written in this blog, in fact it has been 4 years since I sat down to write. To tell you the truth I love to write it brings me joy as God’s Spirit flows through me onto paper. Also, I feel like God gives me so many opportunities to write but I was either too busy, forgot or was struggling so much I kept making excuses that when I get through this trial, I will write but that time never comes. Not only that God gives us all gifts and he wants us to use them for His glory! Satan would like nothing more to stifle those gifts and render us ineffective and waste time with his distractions, temptations, and suffering. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be like the wicked servant who even with only one talent he buried it and didn’t do anything with it and when the Master came, he took the only one he had. Not only that there is no “perfect time” to start doing anything because we are all going to be facing trials and tribulations until the day that we either depart this life and enter His presence or He sounds the trumpet! Hallelujah. Also, God’s timing is always perfect, and He knows how to get us where He needs us and will arrange situations in life to lead us into what he wants us to do. So that is where I find myself today, being nudged by the Holy Spirit to start writing again. I want to start by telling you a Christmas story of how our God used a Christmas tree, the Jesus Tree to bring joy, hope and peace to our home this past Christmas!
